Upward Bound Math & Science serves students from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing them with skills needed for success in post-secondary education. Upward Bound Math & Science provides support for students at the secondary level including skills for academic success, financial aid and scholarship information, ACT preparation and college admissions with an emphasis on a career in math or science. Required form is available at high schools or at the above address. Applicants should know if they have qualified within a month.

• Applicant must have finished 8th grade, but not entered the 12th grade
• Must demonstrate the academic potential to be successful in post-secondary education
• Applicant must meet low-income and/or first-generation college attendance guidelines
• Must demonstrate a need for program services
• Must have a desire to obtain a degree in the math or science field
• Must attend one of the schools identified in Upward Bound grant: Rush Springs, Bray-Doyle, Velma-Alma, Fox, Ringling, Ryan, Wayne, Roff, Davis, Mill Creek, Springer, Wilson, Marietta, Thackerville, Madill, Tishomingo, Milburn or Wapanucka
