Upward Bound Math and Science serves students from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing them with skills needed for success in post-secondary education. Upward Bound Math and Science provides support for students at the secondary level including skills for academic success, financial aid and scholarship information, ACT preparation and college admissions with an emphasis on a career in math or science. Required form is available at high schools or at the above address. Applicants should know if they have qualified within a month.

Eligibility
- Applicant must have finished 8th grade, but not entered the 12th grade
- Must demonstrate the academic potential to be successful in post-secondary education
- Applicant must meet low-income and/or first-generation college attendance guidelines
- Must demonstrate a need for program services
- Must have a desire to obtain a degree in the math or science field
- Must attend one of the schools identified in Upward Bound grant: Rush Springs, Bray-Doyle, Velma-Alma, Fox, Ringling, Ryan, Wayne, Roff, Davis, Mill Creek, Springer, Wilson, Marietta, Thackerville, Madill, Tishomingo, Milburn or Wapanucka
